On the last day of my ugs ugs class, we watched a really weird movie. K-Pax. It also stars Kevin Spacey, and it's one of those open-ended movies...I don't really mind open-minded movies, but this one didn't satisfy me...The movie spends the whole time making us guess whether or not prot is an alien, and then when it ends...the question still remains unanswered.
This is my take on it: I don't like alien stuff. So I'm going to say he's NOT an alien. He had a difficult past, tried to kill himself, and was reborn as "prot". K-Pax isn't actually another planet-it's just a state of mind that is peaceful. Bess wasn't actually a person-just a spirit, so when prot took her to K-Pax, she was gone of course since she never really existed at all..
I don't expect to get any X-mas presents since my friends and I are doing Secret Santa, uggs uggs but here's a list anyway b/c I like making lists :)
