The dresses will be split between both stores, so brides-to-be will have a different selection of gowns to choose from during each sale, said Michael Ann Harvey, vice-president for marketing and public relations for Goodwill Industries-Suncoast.

The gowns are from some of the biggest names in bridal design, such as Priscilla's of Boston, Demetrios, Justin Alexander and La Sposa.
A limited number of bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses; bridal shoes; and accessories such as veils, toasting glasses, guest books and picture frames will be sold at significant savings.
The annual gown gala, which is Goodwill's biggest fundraiser, gives brides-to-be a real bridal boutique feel. There will be wedding music and favors, and pedestals and full-length mirrors will be set up to ensure a good view of the dress from all angles. There also will be an alterations expert at both locations to help brides get the perfect fit.
"A wedding dress is so much more than a garment," Harvey said. "It is a symbol of hope for the future and joy and love. It's almost as important to choose the right gown as it is to choose the right man."
